More and more Canadians are concerned with growing rates of diabetes in Canada.
I have always taken major health issues such as diabetes very seriously, aiming to bring them to the parliamentary agenda. Just last year I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet on Parliament Hill with a group of young children who suffer from insulin dependant, type 1 diabetes.
